Our Lady Dons hosted the Lady Patriots from Heritage HS (Brentwood) on Tuesday before honoring the seniors from both the boys and girls team on Senior Night. Scoring started early with a goal by Sarah Potter (Jr) off a pass by Wendy Heffelfinger (Jr.). The Dons kept the goals coming, racking 5 in the 1st with only one goal against. Offense kept up the play for the rest of the game, with 3 in the 2nd vs. 1 for Heritage and 5 unanswered in the 3rd and 4th. The Lady Dons stingy defense held Heritage to only 13 shots-on-goal, compared with 25 by Acalanes. Another spectacular performance by goalie Audrey Cox (Jr), allowing only 2 goals on those 13 shots.

Heidi Heffelfinger (Sr) was the offensive star of the night, scoring a team-high 4 goals on Senior Night on assists from Sara Archer (Jr) (3), and goalie Audrey Cox (1). Other Lady Dons who found the back-of-the-net: Maize O’Hare (3) (Jr) (assist Heidi, Daylor Williams (Jr)), Frannie Daughters (Sr) (assist Heidi Heffelfinger), Sarah Archer, Sophie Hendrickson (So), Wendy Heffelfinger (So) (assist Audrey Cox), and Levand Koopah (Fr).

Defensive standouts include Sarah Archer and Olivia Williams, each credited with 3 steals to help out Audrey in goal. Other notable thieves: Audrey Cox (2), Daylor Williams, Frannie, Sarah McCarthy (Jr), Maize, Maddie Walsh (Fr), Sophie Hendrickson and Levand.
