In the season opener and Acalanes coaching debut for our new Head Coach Margaret Gartner and her experienced Assistant Coach Scott Espinosa-Brown, the Lady Dons took on the Las Lomas Knights.  A swarming full court press from the Dons posed problems early on for the Knights.  Our offense found its rhythm with our young squad hitting eight 3’s in the game.  Sophomore Isabella Dumas scored a career high 13 points.  Senior Gabby Schneider added 11 points and Senior Grace Gebhardt had a career high 31 points for a comfortable 69-54 victory.  Next game tomorrow night away at Clayton Valley at 8pm.  Go Dons!
