Alhambra Bulldogs 36, Acalanes Dons  19, at Alhambra High School, Martinez

The Dons were not able to catch up to Bulldogs after trailing each quarter.   Acalanes had a relatively strong third quarter, scoring 10 points compared to 14 for Alhambra.   The  Bulldogs put on a strong press which they were able to continue most of the game with their roster of 14 girls.  Scoring on the Martinez team was evenly distributed, with lead scorers with 6 and 4.  Acalanes lead scorers were Molly Keliher-Burke, Nikki McCarthy, and Rebecca Christie with 4 each.
