Miramonte 52, Acalanes 20

The Dons were unable to keep up with the Matadors in their second match of the season.  The Miramonte team features a roster of 14 girls, including their tall center #12 who was again their lead scorer with 14 points.    Compared to last time, the Dons did a better job countering the Matadors’ press, but could not match the Mats long shots, who scored five 3’s compared to one for the Dons.      The Dons lead scorers were Rebecca Christie with 7, Nikki McCarthy with 5 and Molly Keliher-Burke with 4.
