Peace Love and HOOP-iness for the Frosh Dons as they Make Baskets, Not War!

Check it out… The Dons scored 60 in their Saturday game and did it again Tuesday night with 60 again! They love those 60 point games! It was a hard day’s night for Miramonte, as the Dons were feeling groovy on their home turf. The Dons kept the Mats from scoring in the first quarter, 18 to 0. There were no sit-ins, no protests, and no picketing…only DON-inating in this game.

Jumpin’ Jack Flash Bayless was jumping on defense and a flash on offense. Bayless collected 17 for the night. Miller Smith (back from being sick) was outta sight with his layups and had some righteous 3 pointers. The Mats were trying to Break On Through to the Other Side, yet had problems with Bennett Dodge. Bennett was far out with his guarding of the hoop on defense. Kaleo Feinberg was totally fab on both sides of the court (and his hair too). It was a total gas to watch Landon Best-Santos , Coco Gannon, Nathan Bennett. The Dons were so RIGHT ON! At halftime, the good vibrations took over gym with the score 31 to 6. Major good vibes!

Dig this…in the second half, the Dons were still feeling like a Boss on the court. Nathan Bennett, Colin Norstad , Nathan Kim, Dominic Sarica and Zubin Acuna were better than the Beatles or Rolling Stones and played like a true band of cool cats on the court, closing out the game at 60 to 13. Yeah, Baby! Yeah!
Dons will keep on truckin’ and heading out to Clayton Valley on Friday…until then PEACE OUT!

Scoring Summary: Bayless (17), Smith (10), Bennett (6), Zegarowski (5), Best-Santos (5), Gannon (5), Norstad (4), Dodge (2), Sarica (2), Kim (2), Feinberg (2)
