On Saturday night, the Dons Varsity Basketball team cruised to a 73-33 victory over Berean Christian. The Dons struck early, jumping out to a 13-2 lead to start the game with Jackson Aris-Dumas hitting three 3-point shots in a row to lead the charge. The Dons played high-pressure full-court defense in the first quarter, which led to several steals, three of them by Scott Ruegg. The Dons were up 32-8 after the first quarter. They continued to play solid defense and a controlled ball movement offense for the next three quarters. The Dons had a well-balanced scoring attack with nine players scoring at least 5 points and seven players scoring at least 8. Jackson led all scorers with 12. On Thursday, the Dons travel to Marin for the three-day San Rafael Classic.
