Varsity Boys Basketball Defeats Santa Rosa in Overtime

The Dons remain undefeated, and continue the streak tonight at home!

The varsity boys extended their winning streak to 8-0 with a 66-63 overtime win in Santa Rosa last night.  The Dons were up 32-31 at halftime and played well in the third quarter.  But, the Panthers battled back, tying the game 61-61 at the end of regulation.  The Dons’ defense was strong, limiting the Panthers to a single basket during overtime.

Scott Ruegg scored 24 points, including three 3-pointers.  Jake Davis scored a season-high 16 points.  Theo Stoll and Derek Kotarba made key 3-pointers.  Jake and Aidan Bodner scored the overtime points to clinch the win.

The Dons face Drake HS at home today.  Freshmen at 3:00, JV at 4:30, and Varsity at 6:00. Finals are over – Show Up to support the Dons!
