The boys are back in action at home tonight vs. De Anza High at 7:00pm!

          Thank you Dons for showing up to watch your Varsity Boys defeat Concord 68-61 on day one of the three-day Chris Huber Classic! The Dons were boosted by the energy of everyone who Showed Up to cheer, especially the alumni and the girls basketball players. 

        Concord was feisty early on and took a lead, but the Dons settled down and got into a rhythm of their own, edging the Minutemen 38-35 at halftime. The contest was competitive from beginning to end, but a consistent defensive effort by all the Dons, especially Aidan Bodner, Jake Davis, Scott Ruegg, and Graham Smith, kept the opposing offense in check. The Dons turned up the heat with some key steals, fast breaks, and precision passes, which led to baskets. The fourth quarter saw Shreekar Pandey nail two baskets and Jeremy Pearson make a mark on the game with his defensive prowess. The Dons high scorers included Scott (22 points), Graham (14 points), and Aidan (11 points).  Team win.

      Dons face De Anza tonight at 7 pm. Acalanes Boosters adults are $5 for one game, and Acalanes students with an ASB card are free.
