Coming off their upset of previously undefeated Northgate, the defending NCS Champion Acalanes Dons were due for a letdown heading into their volleyball match at Las Lomas. It was a classic “trap” game, with Las Lomas holding its Senior Night. Although they were flat and did not play their best match, the Dons were able to take care of business and win the match, 3 games to 1. The Dons remain tied with Northgate for first place in league. The Dons play at Bentley on Friday, April 19, at 5:00 p.m. The Dons close the season on Thursday, April 25, when they host Campolindo for Senior Night with bragging rights, NCS seeding, and a share of a league championship at stake. The festivities begin around 5:30 p.m. Seniors Griffin Johnson, Alex Franke, Lane Altbaum, Jackson Kirke and Colin Kirbach will be honored.
