Last week the Dons Student-Athletes became coaches. Our Dons held the Dons Summer Football Academy with rave reviews from campers and parents…a DONtastic week!
The Dons Summer Football Academy was be held last week for 4th – 8th grade players for skilled position players and linemen. It was also the biggest turnout ever with over 85 campers. Our goal is to teach fundamentals, develop skills, and help kids with the transition to tackle football in a fun, fast-paced, non-padded and non-contact environment.
Our Don Coaches lead the instruction in all phases of the game with positive, enthusiastic instruction. This campers received personalized attention, skills training and still made each practice fun. Our Dons gave top notch attention each day with advanced technique training on both offense and defense with campers leaving each day with big smiles and a great workout.
Our Dons goal for the different age groups are to prepare each player for their team, MOL, Stanley Middle School, Next Level, etc. Whether you have never played football before or are an experienced player, the Dons know how to make you a better football player…and this was evident last week at camp.
