In Saturday's action…
The determined girls volleyball team played well against Branson HS only to come up short and become the NCS Championship runner-up.  They prepare for the CIF NorCal playoffs beginning Tuesday.
The #1 seeded boys water polo team defeated an inspired Redwood HS 14-11 in the NCS quarterfinals to advance to the semifinals Wednesday.
In Tuesday's action…
The #6 seeded girls tennis team hosts #10 Mission San Jose HS in the first round of the NCS team playoffs at 5:00.
The girls volleyball team plays at Branson HS in the first round of the CIF NorCal playoffs at 6:00.
Saturday's individual standouts…
Boys water polo.
  • Mac Darin scored 6 goals and had 3 assists and 2 steals.
  • Charlie Bettencourt scored 3 goals.
  • Jay Mills and Will Stryker each scored 2 goals.
  • Peter Archer scored 1 goal and had 1 assist and 1 steal.
NCS water polo semifinals…
The #1 seeded boys water polo team hosts #4 Tamalpais HS Wednesday at 5:15.
The #1 seeded girls water polo team hosts #4 San Ramon Valley HS Wednesday at 6:30.
NCS football quarterfinals…
The #3 seeded football team hosts #6 Newark Memorial HS Friday at 7:00.
Note:  At all NCS playoff games, there is an admission charge.  $11 general admission and #6 for students, children and senior citizens.  No passes or ASB stickers will be honored.
