Boys JV Soccer season update

College park

After first half, tied 0-0. After College Park scored with 25 minutes left in second half, #13 Ethan Michon, showed great pressure on defense and changed the tide of the game, but in an all out effort to score, Acalanes JV conceded on the counterattack to end the game 2-0 in favor of College Park.

Miramonte

Acalanes held most of the possession first half, but could not get a goal before half. In the second half, intensity of the game picked up as Acalanes tried to score. Miramonte made a goal with 10 minutes remaining. After battling the last 10 minutes, Tyler Karr #9 got up with the ball in a swarm of Miramonte defenders and hit a brilliant shot bending into the top right corner to end the game 1-1.

De La Salle

Acalanes conceded early in the first half off of a free kick to De La Salle. Acalanes scored a second goal before the end of the half after a passing move by the Spartans. After the half, the Dons came out with more intensity and had many chances. Despite numerous attempts to score, the Dons were defeated 3-0 at full time.

Campo

Campo dominated the first half, but Acalanes kept them to one goal, made off of a free kick. The Dons were down 1-0 going into the half. In the second half the Dons struck back as they held possession well early on. Midway through the second half, a penalty in favor of Acalanes was followed by a red card for Campo’s center back. The Dons could not capitalize on that penalty opportunity. However the Dons created many more opportunities, yet struggled to find the back of the net for the remainder of the game. The game ended 1-0 in favor of Campolindo.

Benicia

Isaiah chipped the Benicia goalkeeper after a tip off Andre for the only goal of the game to win it for the Dons 1-0.
