Mar 8 – Las Lomas Track Results

This was our first league meet of the season, and all four divisions were winners.  This was also our third meet of the year, and we saw 70 season best, and 35 personal records.  It is a tribute to these athletes that they are working hard at getting better.

As a group the shot and disc were on fire. Just about everyone had a PR or a season best. In the girls 400 and 200, Muppy Gragg came from behind twice to catch the state qualifier (in 400). Emily Sverak keeps improving from week to week. Ryan Nall, two weeks out from basketball, threw two PR’s. Keaziah Smith also PR’d in the 200 with 23.46 in his first time running the race! Two of most impressive performances of the year were by Carson Etnyre in the 400, and Owen McNamara 13″ in pole vault.
