It was a full house at Acalanes Friday night as Campolindo came to battle the Lady Dons Lacrosse team and we honored 11 graduating seniors. The good news is that the JV team beat the Cougars 7-5 to remain undefeated in the DAL, raising their overall record to 13-3. The bad news: the varsity was narrowly defeated 12-11 on a controversial offensive foul called with 5 seconds left in the game as Acalanes was in scoring position. Once again the Dons defense was on fire with goalie Jamie Wendt recording 10 saves. Acalanes goals earned by Susie Bush (3), Claire Gallagher (2), Kati Gardner (1), Jenna Kisner (2) and Lauren Westergren (3). The Lady Dons play Berkeley High and Marin Catholic this week.
