Oct 27 – Freshman Football vs. Campo

The Acalanes Freshman Football team played its best game of the year and defeated Campolindo 35-14.  After a close back and forth first half, the game was tied 14-14 at halftime.  The Dons came out and played inspired football in the second half to blow the game open.  The defense locked down the Campolindo offense in the second half with the defensive front applying great pressure on Campo’s quarterback and the secondary playing great man to man defense.

Mike O’Donnell led the way for the offense with three touchdown passes and one rushing touchdown.  O’Donnell spread the ball to numerous receivers including Jack Muren and new target Nick Kresnak.  Tommy Thrasher and Luke Miles caught touchdown passes from O’Donnell and Jake Delaney scored a rushing touchdown.

The Freshman Dons finish their season next week at Miramonte.
