The girls team placed 2nd at NCS Division 3 and qualify for State Championships next weekend in Clovis (near Fresno). Also qualifying for the State Championships as individual runner was Tyler Troxel. The boys team placed 7th in Division 3.

Annie Marggraff finished a strong 3rd place with Amy Hollshwandner right behind in 4th.  The rest of the team followed close behind with Kelly Collins (8th), Tara Bozzini (9th), Kelli Berge (27th), Caith Wright (44th) and Kyra Ruegg (47th).  With their performances, Annie, Amy, Kelly and Tara are now in the top 5 on the Acalanes All-Time list for the Hayward HS course.  Tyler is now 2nd on the All-Time list.

New personal records were recorded by:  Annie (0:40), Amy (0:22), Kelly (1:14), Tara (0:31), Tyler (0:28), Keenan Byrne (0:14), and Scott Bertics (0:12).
