Mar 15 – Boys Lacrosse

The Boy’s Lacrosse Team took home a win in their first League game of the season on Tuesday night with a domination over Dougherty Valley. The Dons possessed the ball the vast majority of the game and shut down DV’s attempts to clear the ball time and time again. Nathan Brickman played “quarterback’ all night, feeding his teammates great passes which resulted in goals 8 different times. Colin Jeffries led in goal scoring with a total of 7 for the night with Grant Jackson close behind with a total of 5 goals. Leo Barakos, Joey Gladden, Matty Mariani and Like Olson were even in their faceoff takes. Goalies Nate Welcomer and Parker Henderson each had 1 save. The Dons held Dougherty Valley to 0 goals in the first 3 quarters, only allowing 1 in the 4th and final minutes of the game.

Colin Jeffries with 7 goals and 1 assist, Grant Jackson with 5 goals, Nathan Lee had 2 goals, Nathan Brickman had 1 goal and 8 assists, Jack Thoren had 1 goal and 3 assists, Michael Bone had 1 goal. Defensively, Brian Maiken forced 6 turnovers and Joey Gladden recovered the most ground balls in the game.
