Feb 12 – Soccer Results, Dons are #1 Seed in NCS Playoffs

In Fridays action…
The boys soccer team was defeated by Dublin HS.
The girls soccer team was defeated by Dublin HS.

NCS Soccer Playoffs…
The boys soccer team is the #1 seed in the North Coast Section playoffs, and will host St. Mary’s HS Wednesday at 7:00.  There is a charge at all NCS playoff events.  General admission is $9, and students with student body cards, children and senior citizens are $6.

Feb 9 – Soccer Results

In yesterdays action…
The boys soccer team defeated Miramonte HS 2-0 to claim their 3rd DFAL title in the last 4 years.  They boast an overall record of 12-1-8, and a DFAL record of 8-0-3.
The girls soccer team pummeled Miramonte HS 4-0.

Yesterdays individual standouts…
Boys soccer        Aiden Maguire scored a goal assisted by Max Mirner, and George Walker scored a goal and was named “Man of the Match.”

Feb 8 – Basketball results

In yesterdays action…
The boys basketball team defeated Alhambra HS 74-47.
The girls basketball team defeated Alhambra HS 55-38.

In todays action…
The girls soccer team hosts Miramonte HS.  They will have their Senior Night Presentation at 5:45 before the game at 6:15.  The jv team will play at 4:15.
The boys soccer team plays at Miramonte HS.  JV at 4:15 and varsity at 6:15.

Yesterdays individual standouts…
Boys basketball Kevin Huber scored 19 points, with 5 3-pointers. Buster Souza scored 17 points. James Griffin scored 10 points, with 2 3-pointers.
Girls basketball Sophie Taylor scored 17 points, and had 11 rebounds and 5 steals. Olivia Murphy scored 17 points, and had 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Molly Martin scored 8 points, and had 7 steals.

In Fridays action…
The girls basketball team soundly defeated Las Lomas HS.  The jv team won in a landslide.
The boys basketball team was defeated by Las Lomas HS.  The jv team also was defeated.
The boys soccer team continues to lead in the DFAL race with a 2-0 victory over Dougherty Valley HS.
The girls soccer team tied Dougherty Valley HS 2-2.
Individual standouts…
Boys basketball Noah Orlik scored 14 points, and Aaron Edwards scored 4 points and had 5 rebounds.
Girls soccer Katherine Torchio scored both goals, Kaitlyn McGee had an assist, and Brooke Balfrey had 4 saves.

Jan 26 – Basketball and Soccer results

In yesterdays action…
The boys soccer team battled to a 1-1 tie with Campolindo HS to raise their DFAL record to 6-0-2, and their overall record to 10-1-5.
The girls soccer team engaged in a defensive battle with Campolindo HS ending in a 0-0 tie.
The boys basketball team narrowly fell to Dublin HS 57-54.
The girls basketball team played very well only to lose to Dublin HS on a buzzer-beater 53-51. JV Girls won 51-49.

In todays action…
The wrestling team has a meet at Miramonte HS at 6:00.

Boys soccer        Dan Glascock scored the lone goal assisted by Aidan Maguire. Kevin Park and Nick Blee were named “Men of the Match.”
Girls soccer         Brooke Balfrey had 2 saves.

The boys basketball team toppled Miramonte HS 56-54.  The freshman team was defeated.
The girls basketball team was defeated by Miramonte HS.  The jv team was victorious.
The girls soccer team was short-handed, but battled to a 0-0 tie with Concord HS.  The jv team was also short-handed, but played well to end in a tie.

In todays action…
The freshman boys soccer team plays at College Park HS at 4:00.

Boys basketball                James Griffin scored 25 points, with 4 3-pointers, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Buster Souza scored 10 points, with 10 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. Jon Coleman had 6 rebounds and 2 assists.
Girls basketball               Taylor Odom scored 10 points.
Girls soccer                       Brooke Balfrey had 6 assists.

In Fridays action…
The boys soccer team continues to roll through the DFAL with a 4-1 victory over Las Lomas HS raising their DFAL record to 6-0-1 and an overall record of 9-1-3.
The girls soccer team battled to a 2-2 tie with Las Lomas HS.
The boys basketball team played extremely well in an 82-52 dismantling of Alhambra HS.
The girls basketball team countered the hot start by Alhambra HS to defeat them 60-34.

Fridays individual standouts…
Boys soccer          Nick Warren scored a goal and had an assist. Jacob Carroll, Austin Grassini, and Dan Glascock each scored a goal. Graham  Lindgren and David Dadiomov each had an assist. Eric Rogstad had 2 saves.
Girls soccer         Kaitlyn McGee scored a goal and had an assist. Annie Beliveau scored a goal. Brooke Balfrey had 7 saves.
Boys basketball Buster Souza scored 14 points. James Griffin scored 12 points. Kevin Huber scored 10 points, with 2 3 pointers. Ben Weintraub scored 9 points, with 3 3-pointers and 5 rebounds.

The girls soccer team was edged out by Dublin HS 2-1.

The girls soccer team continues to light up the scoreboard defeating Berean Christian HS 5-1 scoring 22 goals in their last 6 games.

It was a big night for the girls soccer team as they overwhelmed Miramonte HS 4-1.
The boys soccer team played in dominant fashion to notch a 2-0 win over Miramonte HS to raise their DFAL record to 4-0-1 and their overall record to 7-0-3.
The boys basketball team suffered a narrow defeat to Campolindo HS.  The jv team also fell short.
The girls basketball team was defeated by Campolindo HS.  The jv team was victorious.

In Saturdays action…
The boys soccer team was defeated by San Ramon Valley HS.

In todays action…
The girls soccer team plays at Berean Christian HS at 3:30.
The freshman boys soccer team hosts Berkeley HS at 6:00.

Girls soccer       Kaitlyn McGee scored 2 goals. Katherine Tottle and Becca Bostwick each scored a goal and had an assist. Brooke Balfrey had 4 saves.
