Yesterday, the softball team started off the season with a 20-0 victory over Mt. Eden HS. Natalie Goepel threw a 1-hitter striking out 10 batters and went went 1 for 3 at the plate, walking twice, scoring 2 runs, with 2 RBIs. Maddy Maderious went 4 for 5, with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.

The softball team plays Mt. Eden HS at 3:45. Varsity is home and JV away.
The varsity and JV baseball team has a scrimmage at Granada HS at 3:30.
The boys tennis team has a scrimmage at Monte Vista HS at 3:00.
Well, we’re almost there. I have 10 t-shirts that I can use and ideally I need 12 or 16. I can make up squares if need be to get to the 12, but would prefer to use ‘real’ AHS sports t-shirts. Right now, I have shirts from the following sports:

Click on the calendar button on the top menu. The Boosters Sports Calendar appears. Follow the tabs across the top of the calendar. The Calendar can be printed, viewed by Month, by Week, or in Agenda format.
TIP: Click on the drop down arrow to the right of the Agenda button. All sports are displayed by default. You may select or deselect individual sports to declutter and personalize your own calendar. Click to PRINT the calendar by day / week / month / or as a list (agenda).
Now click on a specific event. TIP: click on Map to bring up a Google Map. Insert your current address for turn by turn driving directions. Click on Copy to download and save the calendar on your email client.
The 2011-2012 athletic year ended on Saturday with an NCS Championship as the baseball team defeated Tamalpais HS 4-0 to repeat as NCS Champions. Andrew Merken threw a no-hitter over 5 innings as the winning pitcher, and Conor Hornsby went 3 for 3, with an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base.
Yesterday, the baseball team, led by winning pitcher, Spencer Henderson, defeated Sonoma Valley HS 9-4 to advance to the NCS Championship game, which will be Saturday at the O.Co Coliseum Saturday vs. Tamalpais HS at 1:00PM.
In Fridays action…
The baseball team defeated San Marin HS 3-2 on AJ Welsh’s game winning hit in the bottom of the 11th inning to advance to the NCS semifinals when they will play Sonoma Valley HS at Arnold Park in Sonoma on Wednesday at 7:00.
The softball team ended a great season in defeat to Bishop O’Dowd HS in the NCS quarterfinals.
Baseball John York was the winning pitcher. Grant Diede went 3 for 5, with a triple. AJ Welsh and Connor Hornsby each went 2 for 5.
Softball Mia Monopoli went 2 for 3.Track & field Adler Faulkner placed 7th in the 800 and Annie Marggraff 13th in the 3200 at the NCS Meet of Champions.
