The Lady Dons fell in the first round of the NCS playoffs to the #1 seed ( #2 in the West) Novato Hornets, 22-7. Finishing their high school careers, Julia Mueller led the team with 3 goals ( 3 draw controls) and Anna deRoque fired in a goal on a free position shot ( 1 assist) for the Lady Dons. Marcy Morse contributed 2 goals ( 2 draw controls, 1 assist), and Claire Gallagher had one goal and 4 draw controls. Goalie Jamie Wendt had an impressive 11 saves against an extremely talented team. The team finished the year with a 12-9 record.
In Tuesday’s action…
defeated Miramonte HS 25-10 to raise their overall record to 14-3 and their DAL record to 6-1.
found themselves behind 2-0 after 6-1/2 innings. In the bottom of the 6th, they exploded for 3 runs and shut down College Park HS in the last inning to pull out a 3-2 victory.
