Nov 1 – Tuesday Sports

In Monday’s action…

Girls Tennis

fared well through the first day of the DAL Championships and advance Meagan Cardiff, Zoe Cate, Skylar Jeveli, Maddie McDonagh and Sasha Schtein to the second day of competition.

Girls Golf

Emily Attiyeh had a great round of 74 at the NCS Championships, but came up short of qualifying for the NorCal Championships in a four way playoff.  Congratulations, Emily on a great season.

In Tuesday’s action…

Girls Tennis

competes in the DAL Championships at Acalanes HS at 11:00.

Girls Volleyball

The #3 seeded girls volleyball team hosts Tennyson HS in the first round of the NCS playoffs at 7:00.

 

Note:  At all NCS playoff events, there is an admission charge.  $10 general admission and $5 for students, children and senior citizens.  No passes or ASB stickers will be honored.

In Monday’s action…

Girls Golf

finished 3rd at the DAL Championships.

JV Girls Tennis

defeated College Park HS 11-3.

In Tuesday’s action…

Girls Volleyball

hosts Campolindo HS.  Freshmen at 4:00, JV at 5:00 and varsity at 6:30.

Boys Water Polo

hosts San Ramon Valley HS.  Varsity at 6:00 and JV at 7:00.

Girls Tennis

has a match against Las Lomas HS at 3:30.  Varsity is home and JV is away.

Monday’s individual standouts…

Girls Golf

Emily Attiyeh shot a 72 for the lowest round of the tournament.  The 3rd place finish was aided by Avalon Schenone, Grace Andronico, Caitlin McDonagh, Allison Merrill and Elle Hoarau.

In Thursday’s action…

JV Girls Tennis

defeated College Park HS 7-1.

Girls Volleyball

dropped the first two games 25-20 and 25-19 to Miramonte HS, but rallied to win the next two games 25-22 and 25-22.  The fifth game went down to the wire, with the Dons falling just short 17-15.  The JV and freshman teams swept the Matadors 25-18 and 25-18 in both match-ups.

Girls Golf

was defeated by Miramonte HS.

In Friday’s action…

Football

hosts Las Lomas HS.  JV at 4:30 and varsity at 7:00.

Girls Volleyball

The varsity team was led by offensive standout Parker Jones, defensive standout Devin Grobeck and all-around standout Alex Matson.  The JV standouts were Laurel Park on offense and Cailey MacKay on defense.  The freshmen received stellar play on offense from Jessica Larrick and on defense from Charlotte Glass.
