The Boy’s Varsity Lacrosse Team had a busy week

With a total of 4 games played, the Dons were on a streak but could not hold on against Novato.

Friday night the Dons played at Alhambra inviting many JV players up to play against the league opponent. It proved to be successful as the Dons dominated Alhambra with a final score of 12 to 1. Taylor Howell and Cole Tanner led the charge with 3 goals each. Matt Reilly had 2 goals, Leo Barakos, Tristen Guzaitis, Robbie Stern, Jack Thoren each had 1 goal. The boys played a strong defense with great play from Daniel Agazzi and Glenn Johnston. Goalkeeper Danny Ennis had 9 saves.

The Varsity Lacrosse team also faced off against a tough opponent on Saturday in Novato ending a 4 game week. It was an exciting game with a tie score in the 4th quarter of 8 to 8. With less than 2 minutes to go, Novato scored. Unfortunately, the Dons were unsuccessful in their final attempts to score ending the game with 9 to 8 loss. Fear not, the Dons are still ranked #1 in CIF North Coast and now have a record of 11-2. Adrian Jeffries, Peter Mitchell and Robbie Stern had 2 goals each, Nathan Brickman and Jack Mariani each had 1 goal.

This week, the Lacrosse team faces Dublin on Tuesday at Acalanes. The most exciting game of the season is sure to be on Saturday as they face the #2 ranked team, Redwood. Please come out and support the Lacrosse program on Saturday, April 26th at 3pm at Acalanes.  Spread the word, the Boys could use all of the community cheer to help them hang on to the #1 ranking.
