Boys Lacrosse sailed through 1st round NCS Playoffs!

The Boys took on Bay School of San Francisco last night, dominating the entire game. The Dons racked up 10 goals in just the 1st half with a final score of 18 to 1. Standouts are not limited to but include: Adrian Jeffries who scored 4 goals and had 1 assist. Jack Mariani with 3 goals. Robbie Stern with 2 goals and 3 assists. JV call up, Trent Nemanic had 2 goals and 1 assist. Nathan Brickman had 2 goals. John Fraser, Grant Jackson, Peter Mitchell, Matt Reilly and JV call up Jack Thoren each had 1 goal.

Goalies Cam Bosshart and Danny Ennis had 2 saves each as the Don’s defense did not allow Bay School to hold on the ball very long before stripping it away at most every possession. JV call ups Glenn Johnston and Daniel Agazzi were big contributors assisting the senior defenders Jack DeVeny, Tommy Kresnak and Jackson May along with sophomore Brian Maiken. The Dons won the majority of ground balls including several by Tyler Henderson, Taylor Howell and Vinny Gladden.

The Boys advance to the Quarter Finals and will play St. Mary’s of Stockton Rams on Friday, May 16th at 5 pm at Acalanes. The Rams are a senior-heavy roster, with 16 of their 26 players scheduled to graduate in weeks. They are sure to come hoping for a win. The Dons need your support in cheering them on to the next round! Be sure to come out and cheer on the Boys and stay for the Girls game at 7pm as they face off against Sir Francis Drake High School.
