The girls water polo team ended a great season in a 6-5 double overtime defeat to Campolindo HS in the NCS semifinals.

The boys water polo team also ended a great season in defeat to Sir Francis Drake HS in the NCS semifinals.

The #4 seeded girls volleyball team defeated Moreau HS 25-14, 25-16, 25-18 in the first round of the NCS playoffs to advance to the quarterfinals where they will host #5 Sonoma Valley HS Saturday at 7:00.

Nov 8 – Acalanes Advances to NCS Water Polo Semifinals

It was a great day for Dons water polo in the NCS quarterfinals.

Girls Water Polo

The #3 seeded girls led off the day with an 11-5 victory over #6 Sir Francis Drake HS. They advance to the semifinals Wednesday at #2 seeded Campolindo HS at 7:15 at Campo.

Boys Water Polo

The #5 seeded boys followed with a thrilling back-and-forth 11-9 victory over Las Lomas HS. They advance to the semifinals Wednesday at #1 seeded Sir Francis Drake HS at 7:15 at Drake HS.
Saturday’s standouts: Casey Conrad scored 3 goals. Tommy Fellner, Evan Wentzel and Jack Winther each scored 2 goals.

#3 seeded Acalanes defeated Ukiah HS 12-6 to raise their overall record to 15-8 and advance to the NCS quarterfinals Saturday as they will host Sir Francis Drake HS.

Girls Volleyball

defeated Dougherty Valley HS 25-14, 22-25, 25-17 and 25-20 to raise their DFAL record to 9-2 and their overall record to 16-6.
