In Friday’s action…

Girls Basketball

The #2 seeded girls basketball team made easy work of El Cerrito HS 74-23 in the NCS quarterfinals.

They advance to the semifinals as they host Alameda HS Wednesday at 7:00.

Boys Lacrosse

scratched out a hard-fought victory over Piedmont HS 4-3. The jv team was not as fortunate.

Girls Lacrosse

was defeated by Piedmont HS. The JV team also suffered defeat.

Wrestling

competes in the NCS Championships at James Logan HS.

Frosh-Soph Baseball

plays at Amador Valley HS in a scrimmage at 11:00.

Brooke Panfili scored 18 points, with 4 3-pointers. Roni Marrone scored 12 points, with 1 3-pointer. Emma Godfrey scored 12 points. Julia Lyons scored 11 points.

The #2 seeded girls soccer team shutout Tamalpais HS 2-0 in the NCS quarterfinals. The victory sets up a semifinal home showdown with Las Lomas HS Wednesday at 7:00.

Boys Soccer

played very well in their final game of the season falling to De Anza HS 2-1 in the NCS quarterfinals.

Boys Lacrosse

was defeated by San Ramon Valley HS.

Wrestling

finished 4th overall at the DFAL Championships a mere 6 points behind the 2nd place team.
Jeremy Ridge won a DFAL Championship. Tai White was a DFAL Championship runner-up. Isaac Douglas, Axel Jurgens, Peyton Li and Ben Ross placed 3rd. These top three placers qualify for the NCS Championships Friday and Saturday at Newark Memorial HS. Aaron Baker, Chris Fulton and Tyler Sverak placed 4th and are NCS alternates.

NCS playoffs…

Girls Basketball

is the #2 seed and hosts Redwood HS Tuesday at 7:00 in the first round of the NCS playoffs.

WOW!!! The #16 seeded boys soccer team pulled off the big upset defeating #1 seeded Redwood HS 1-0 in the first round of the NCS playoffs. The victory sets them up for a quarterfinal game at De Anza HS Saturday at 7:00.

Girls Soccer

The #2 seeded girls soccer team dispatched #15 seeded Newark Memorial HS 4-0 in the first round of the NCS playoffs. They will host #7 seeded Tamalpais HS in the quarterfinals Saturday at 7:00.
