In Wednesday’s action…

Boys Basketball

went back and forth with Alhambra HS before finishing them off 62-53. The jv team did likewise.

Girls Basketball

won in a landslide over Alhambra HS. The jv road was not as easy, yet they pulled out a 2 point victory.

Girls Soccer

Acalanes and Campo were tied 2-2 in the second half until an offensive barrage of 2 goals in one minute propelled the girls soccer team to a 4-2 victory over Campolindo HS raising their DFAL record to 6-0-2 and their overall record to 8-0-2.

Boys Soccer

played very well battling Campolindo HS to a 1-1 draw. The jv team also played to a 1-1 tie.

Jesse Marlow scored 15 points and Robbie Rowell 11 points, each with 3 3-pointers. Ryan Nall scored 9 points and was a tenacious presence in the paint.

Girls Basketball

Alex Grant-Hudd had the shooting touch scoring 15 points with 3 3-pointers. Emma Godfrey was a strong presence inside with 12 points and great contributions on defense and rebounding. Brooke Panfili scored 10 points, with 1 3-pointer.

Girls Soccer

Cate Goodman and Bridgett Johnson each scored two goals and Isobel Whitehead scored the other goal. Christina Pathoumthong was in goal for both shutouts.

In Friday’s action…

Girls Soccer

scored early and made it stand in a 1-0 victory over Dougherty Valley HS. The jv team had the opposite experience. They played well the entire game but gave up a goal in extra time to fall 1-0.

Boys Soccer

played to a 2-2 draw with Dougherty Valley HS.

Boys Basketball

made an incredible rally from being down 20 points only to fall short to Campolindo HS. The jv boys were the opposite building a big lead and holding on to defeat the Cougars.
