Mar 24 – Girls Lacrosse vs. Campolindo

Girls Lacrosse

The Lady Dons could not overcome the domination on the draw by Campolindo and lost 16-10. Sydney Louie led the team with 3 goals followed by Julia Mueller and Marcy Morse with 2 each.  Claire Gallagher and Anna deRoque each contribute 1 goal. Jamie Wendt had 6 saves in goal.

The JV team was victorious in their game.

Mar 20 – Girls Lacrosse rains on College Park

The Lady Dons battled College Park in the rain and were victorious, 13-8.

Julia Mueller scored 6 goals followed by Susie Bush with 4. Sydney Louie added two goals. Claire Gallagher, Emma Workman and Anna deRoque each added one. Marcy Morse had 7 draw controls and 3 caused turnovers. Jenna Kisner dominated the defensive side with 6 caused turnovers and 5 ground balls. Jamie Wendt had 9 saves in goal.

The JV team also were victorious.

Mar 17 – Girls Lacrosse vs. Miramonte

Girls Lacrosse

The Lady Dons led most of the game to league rival Miramonte but fell short in the final minutes, 9-8.

The Lady Dons shut down the Mats top players and goalie Jamie Wendt had another stellar night with 9 saves. Susie Bush and Marcy Morse lead the team with 2 goals each. Julia Mueller had 1 goal and 3 draw controls. Also contributing  with a goal each were Emma Workman, Anna deRoque and Sydney Louie. The JV team staged a late game comeback to beat the Mats in the last minute in a exciting game!

Both teams return to action Monday night vs College Park at home. JV 5:30 and Varsity 7pm.

Mar 14 – Girls Varsity Lacrosse

The Lady Dons dominated new league opponent Ygnacio Valley, 16-1.

Freshman Lauren Westergren led the offense with 4 goals, followed by Anna deRoque, Sydney Louie, and Julia Mueller each with 3. Louie also had an impressive 8 draw controls. Susie Bush added 2 goals along with 6 loose ball controls. Rounding out the scoring spree were Jenna Kisner and Katie Gardner with 1 goal each.

The Lady Dons face their league rival Miramonte  at home on Friday, JV at 5:30pm and Varsity at 7pm.

Mar 10 – Girls Lacrosse

defeat new league opponent, Northgate HS, 18-1.

Susie Bush led the charge with 5 goals followed by Julia Mueller with 4. Kati Gardner and Claire Gallagher tallied 3 each. Gallagher also led the team again in draw controls with 5. Anna deRoque added 2 goals and 4 loose ball controls.  Fresh from her basketball season, Junior Sydney Louie scored 1 goal and had 3 draw controls.

The Lady Dons travel to Ygnacio Valley on Tuesday for their next league game.

Mar 9 – Girls Lacrosse

The Lady Dons lost to their non league rival, Piedmont HS, 13-3.

Goalie Jamie Wendt had a busy night in the cage and tallied 8 saves. Julia Mueller, Susie Bush and Isabel Rurka each had one goal. Marcy Morse and Claire Gallagher had 3 draw controls each.

The Lady Dons play Northgate tonight, JV 5:30 and Varsity 7pm.

Mar 7 – Girls Lacrosse

The Lady Dons are now 3-0 in league play after defeating Las Lomas, 15-6. Susie Bush lead the team in goals with 4 followed by Julia Mueller with 3. Katie Gardner, Marcy Morse, and Claire Gallagher each contributed two. Jenna Kisner and Lauren Westergren scored 1 goal each. Morse also contributed 5 assists, 5 draw controls and 4 ground balls. Goalie Jamie Wendt had nine saves for the Lady Dons.

Next up the Piedmont Highlanders visit Acalanes on Thursday, JV 5:30 and Varsity at 7pm.

Mar 3 – Girls Lacrosse

The Lady Dons defeated their new league opponent, Clayton Valley Charter, 18-0. Julia Mueller led the attack with 6 goals, 4 draw controls and 3 ground balls. Fellow senior Anna deRoque rifled in 3 goals along with 2 assists and 2 Ground balls. Sophomore Claire Gallagher added 2 goals along with 5 draw controls and 2 ground balls. Marcy Morse and Kati Gardener added 2 each. Susie Bush, Jenna Kisner contributed with one goal as did Freshman Lauren Westergren who scored her first goal as a Lady Don. Goalie Jamie Wendt had a quiet night with 2 saves on 4 shots after a busy time in goal against Amador with 10 saves.

Mar 1 – Girls Lacrosse

The Lady Dons started off slowly but then rallied back in second half but fell short, 13-8 to Amador Valley. Sophomores Emma Workman and Marcy Morse led the way with 3 and 2 goals respectively. Sophomore Claire Gallagher had 3 draw controls and 5 ground balls. Anna deRoque, Susie Bush each contributed one goal along with freshman Isabel Rurka scoring her first goal as a Lady Don!

Friday night the Lady Dons host new league opponent, Clayton Valley. JV 5:30 and Varsity 7pm.
