Nov 1 – Girls Varsity Volleyball: NCS Round 1

YOUR Acalanes Dons girls volleyball squad (#3) hosted the first round NCS playoffs against Tennyson (#14), their first appearance in NCS playoffs (Congrats Lancers!) Unfortunately for the Lancers, they ran up against a very solid Dons team and were defeated in 3 sets 25-11, 25-3, 25-17. Again, solid all around play from a deep team won the night with continued outstanding play from Parker Jones, Alex Matson and Devin Grobeck. Nevins, Elliott and Clever shut down the net in the middle and Sarah Nelson and Madi Risch ripped it up on the right. And Maddie Kalil and Lane Webster put in a solid night of serving and setting. Great job Dons!

Next up…Quarterfinal match v. #6 St. Patrick-St. Vincent on Saturday night at AHS 7pm. Come out and support your DONS!

p.s. I wanted to give a shout out to Boosters for the beautiful new scoreboards in the gym. They look awesome!
