In last Thursday’s action …

The boys lacrosse team easily dispatched Miramonte HS 16-3 to remain undefeated in the DAL at 5-0 and raise their overall record to 8-3.

The boys tennis team defeated Clayton Valley Charter HS 8-1 to raise their DAL record to 3-1.

The softball team was defeated by Alameda HS.  The jv team scratched out a 5-4 victory.

The JV baseball team defeated Concord HS 15-0.

The JV boys volleyball team defeated Alhambra HS 25-18 and 25-12.

Thursdays individual standouts…

Boys tennis.  Rohan Saha, AJ Hesby, Henry Huchingson, Aidan Alagappan, Nick Broback and Ed Collinson won singles matches.  Jack Berrien & Spencer Tompkins and Zevin Acuna & Carter Thibault won doubles matches.

 

In last Fridays action…

The cheerleading team defeated Miramonte HS 15-7 to raise their overall record to 2-1 half way through the season..

The crowds were out in full force last Friday night at Acalanes to watch the highly anticipated girls lacrosse matchup between Acalanes and Miramonte.  Both teams gave maximum effort.  The game was tied 5-5 at halftime. The girls mounted a furious rally in the second half, but ran out of time but in a 11-12 defeat to the Mats.  Huge shout out to JV goalie Olivia Pellegrini who stepped up to play the varsity game!  Our JV girls beat Miramonte 14-8 victory as Kate Carter made 7 of 7 shots and Della Pascucci defended the goal well in her first ever game in goal.

Muppy Gragg competed at the Stanford Invitational.

 

In last Saturdays action…

The frosh-soph baseball team dropped two close games to Miramonte HS 5-4 and 8-7.

The track & field team competed in the Stanford Invitational.
