Apr 11 – 22 Personal Records set at De Anza College!

The Acalanes Track team attended the De Anza Invitational in Cupterino over the weekend, and ran, threw or jumped with 22 personal records.

Both of the boys and girls finished 3rd in their divisions and 3rd combined girls and boys.

Boys Highlights:

Danny Applin finished 2nd overall in boys 200 with a time of 23.26, PR
Jesse Inques-Stralla ran the fastest 100 this year with a 11.89, PR
Jack Brydon finished 1st in Discus 128’10″, PR
Anthony Rader finished 3rd in Discus 122’1”
Girls Highlights:

Windy Margerum finished second in her first hurdle race of the year 16.70
Annie Klopstock finished second overall in 400 1:00.99, PR
Veronica Marrone had three PR’s in 100 13.15, TJ  31’ 3” and High Jump.  Her high jump mark of 4’10” in highest jump at Acalanes in 7 years
Julia Lyons  12.9 and Muppy Gragg 13.02 finished 5th and 6th in the 100 out of 45 athletes, both PR’s
Imani Boggan finished 3rd overall in 200 26.28, PR
Caroline Kelly finished 5th in the 3200 13:30.21, PR
